The NYS affiliate program pays you a commission on every trader you refer who purchases through your unique affiliate link. Participation is governed by the affiliate terms in force at the time, and by a short list of practices that are strictly prohibited.
How referral commissions work
You get a unique affiliate link. A purchase counts as your referral when it is attributed to that link.
Commissions accrue in your affiliate dashboard and are paid on the standard schedule, once you reach the minimum payout threshold.
Attribution depends on the tracking rules (including cookie duration) set out in the current affiliate terms.
You cannot refer yourself
This is the rule we are asked about most often, so it is worth stating plainly:
An affiliate may not buy through their own link. Purchases you make through your own link do not generate a commission.
Self-referral is prohibited. That includes purchases for accounts you own or control, and arrangements set up so that a purchase looks like someone else's referral when it is really your own.
Commissions generated this way are void and may be reversed even after they have been paid.
Prohibited practices
You must promote NYS honestly and lawfully. The following are strictly prohibited and are a material breach of the affiliate terms:
Self-referral. Using your own affiliate link for your own purchases, or for accounts you own or control.
False or fraudulent registrations. Fake or duplicate accounts, stolen, borrowed or synthetic identities, or sign-ups and purchases that are not genuine.
Incentivised or misleading promotion. Unauthorised cashback or rebates, guaranteed-profit claims, or false, exaggerated or unsubstantiated statements about the programs or the results a trader can expect.
Brand and paid-search abuse. Bidding on NYS brand terms, impersonating NYS, or registering domains, handles or social accounts that are confusingly similar to the NYS brand.
Spam and unlawful traffic. Unsolicited bulk messaging, cookie stuffing, forced or automated clicks, bots, or any traffic obtained by deceptive or unlawful means.
Commissions arising from a prohibited practice may be withheld, reversed or cancelled, and the affiliate account may be suspended or closed. NYS may also reclaim amounts already paid that are later found to come from prohibited activity, and may report unlawful conduct to the competent authorities.
Attribution and commission questions
If a referral was not tracked, a commission looks wrong, or you are unsure whether a purchase was attributed to you, contact support with your affiliate details and the order information. These questions are reviewed and resolved under the affiliate terms in force at the time, and not on a case-by-case negotiation.
Marketing never overrides product rules
No marketing statement changes how a product works. Anything you or another affiliate says in a video, post, ad or private message is promotional material. The trading rules, pricing, payout policy and terms published by NYS are what actually apply to an account, and they prevail in any conflict. Never promise traders outcomes, exceptions or rule changes that the published product rules do not support.
Changes to the affiliate program
NYS may modify, update or discontinue the affiliate program and the affiliate terms at any time, at its sole discretion, including commission rates, cookie duration, eligibility criteria, minimum payout thresholds and payment schedules. Changes take effect when published, and continuing in the program after that date means you accept them. Changes are not applied retroactively to reduce commissions already earned and approved before the change takes effect.
