Trading accounts at NYS Markets are available only to individuals. The verified natural person is always the account holder, so there is no company-owned trading account. What we can do, where it is legally and operationally permitted, is issue the invoice for your purchase to a company.
Who holds the account?
Always the verified natural person. Each person may hold one NYS user profile, and may open multiple trading accounts under that profile within the applicable product capital limits. A company, LLC or other legal entity cannot be registered as the account holder, and an invoice issued to a company does not transfer ownership of the account or of any result on it.
Can I get an invoice in my company's name?
Yes, on request and where legally and operationally permitted. Contact support with your order details and your company's billing information, typically:
Legal name of the company
Registered address
Tax / VAT identification number
Invoicing to a company is a billing arrangement only. Your account, the rules that apply to it and your identity verification stay attached to you as an individual.
Can payouts be sent to my company?
Payout arrangements depend on the payment provider and on compliance requirements, and are handled case by case. Contact support before you request a payout rather than assuming a payment to a company is available.
Identity verification
Your personal identity verification (KYC) applies as normal and may be requested at any time. Using a family member's or any other third party's identity is prohibited.
