Before your first payout you must complete identity verification (KYC). This is a standard, mandatory step and there is no separate charge for it.
What does verification involve?
KYC consists of confirming who you are with an official document plus a live check, and being screened against sanctions and politically-exposed-person lists (AML).
What do I need to provide?
A valid government-issued photo ID
Proof of address
Tax information where required by your jurisdiction
You may also be asked to complete a liveness or selfie check to confirm the ID belongs to you.
When must it be done?
A Funded Account is not activated, and no payout is released, until your KYC verification has been approved. Completing it early avoids delays when you reach your first payout.
Is there a fee?
No. Identity verification is part of the standard payout process and NYS does not charge a separate verification fee.
